The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male, seen in the attached surveillance photograph, who is sought in connection with a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct / Transit District 12 in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Monday, October 04, 2021, at 1530 hours, at the Prospect Avenue station, the 15-year-old male victim exited a 2 / 5 line train and an unidentified individual exited along with him.

As the victim was walking down the stair case of the station, the individual approached him from behind and demanded the jewelry he was wearing. The individual also stated that he had a gun.

The victim complied and removed a chain and a bracelet, that he was wearing, and gave them to the individual.

The individual told the victim to run home and not to look back and then fled the location.

The victim was not injured.

The individual did not display a firearm.

The total value of the stolen property was $1,000.

The individual is described as an adult male, Black, approximately 5’07” tall, weighing 160 lbs., with a medium complexion, medium build and facial hair.

He was last seen wearing a purple baseball hat with the word “BOSS” on the front, black sunglasses, a dark blue jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, blue sneakers and holding a beer in his left hand.
