The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip, who is wanted in connection to two robberies, which occurred within the confines of the 50th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
Both incidents happened on Friday, July 16, 2021.
- At approximately 1015 hours, the individual knocked on the 89-year-old male victim’s apartment in the vicinity of Van Cortlandt Park. Once the victim answered, the individual forced his way inside and removed jewelry from his bedroom in addition to his bicycle.
- At approximately 1300 hours, the individual knocked on the 42-year-old female victim’s apartment door in the vicinity of 232nd Street and Tibbett Avenue. When the victim answered the door, the individual forced his way inside and displayed a firearm. The individual then forced the victim to give him $150 in cash, before fleeing.
