The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 41st Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Sunday, January 10, 2021, at approximately 1546 hours, in front of 671 Kelly Street, the individual approached the 23-year-old male victim and asked him for the time before taking his cell phone.

The individual then placed his hand inside the pocket of his hoodie, simulated as if he had a handgun and demanded money from the victim.

The victim complied and gave the individual $400 in cash.

The individual fled the scene on foot southbound on Leggett Avenue.

The individual is described as a male, Hispanic, 18 to 25 years of age; last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black mask over his face, a black hooded sweater with the word “GAP” on the front, a black coat with a fur-lined hood, black pants with red stripes on the sides and white sneakers.

A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
