The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs, who is wanted in connection to a robbery, that occurred in transit within the confines of the 52nd Precinct / TD 11 in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Thursday, December 31, 2020, at approximately 1845 hours, a 26-year-old female victim was on board the northbound B, D line at the Kingsbridge Road subway station, when an unidentified male individual reached into the train while the doors were open and grabbed the victim’s bookbag.

The victim attempted to pull back the bookbag from the individual, but was unable to retrieve it.

The individual then fled on foot to parts unknown with the victim’s bookbag containing credit cards and approximately $85.

The victim sustained minor injuries to her right hand but refused medical attention at the scene.

The individual is described as a dark-skinned adult male, approximately 5’7″ tall, weighing 160 lbs.; with a medium build.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, black jacket, black, white and red “Jordan” sneakers and a dark blue and white face mask.
