The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male, who is seen in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip and is sought in connection with a robbery, which occurred within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Wednesday, November 04, 2020, at 1037 hours, inside of a jewelry store, located at 34 W. Burnside Avenue, an unidentified male entered and asked to see gold necklaces.
A 40-year-old male store employee placed the necklaces on the counter, and the unidentified male grabbed the necklaces and exited the store without paying.
The employee pursued the unidentified male at attempted to stop him outside of the store and the unidentified male produced a knife and attempted to stab him. The unidentified male fled on foot southbound on Davidson Avenue with three necklaces valued at a total of $1,000.
The victim was not injured.
The unidentified male is Black, 35- to 40-year-old, approximately 6’00” to 6’02” tall.
He was wearing a black jacket, a yellow and blue striped polo shirt, black and white sneakers a baseball cap and sunglasses.
