The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph regarding a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 52nd Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

On Saturday, September 05, 2020, at approximately 1230 hours, inside the Marshalls department store located at 50 W. 225th Street, an unidentified individual entered the establishment, removed $110 worth of clothing from the shelves and placed the items in a backpack.

Upon attempting to leave the store, when confronted by security, the individual assaulted the 25-year-old security guard by stabbing him in the arm with a pair of scissors before fleeing through the front door.

The individual was last seen on foot heading towards Broadway.

The victim sustained a minor puncture wound and refused medical attention.

The individual is described as an adult male, Black, approximately 6’0″ tall, weighing 200 lbs., with brown eyes and long black dread locks.

He was last seen wearing a black du-rag, red t-shirt, a surgical mask and black pants.
