The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance video clip and photograph, who is wanted in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Sunday, August 16, 2020, at approximately 1320 hours, in the vicinity of E. 172nd Street and Beach Avenue, an unknown male individual engaged in a verbal dispute with a 58-year-old male victim.

The unknown individual assaulted the victim, threw him to the ground and removed his cell phone from his pocket. The individual fled on foot, northbound on St. Lawrence Avenue.

The victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention at the scene.

The individual is described as a light-skinned male, approximately 45-50 years old, 5’9″ tall, weighing 140 lbs.

He was last seen wearing a tan shirt, tan shorts, black sneakers and a black baseball cap.
