The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the male, depicted in the attached surveillance photograph and video clip, who is wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct / Transit District 11 in the Bronx.

The following has been reported to the police.
 
On Monday, August 17, 2020, at approximately 0649 hours, a 40-year-old male victim was adding $40 to his MetroCard inside of the Mount Eden Avenue train station, when an unknown individual asked for a swipe and then proceeded to snatch the money from the victims hand. The individual then simulated like he had a firearm on his person and threatened to shoot the victim if he did not give him his cellphone.

The victim handed his Samsung A20 to the individual and he fled down the stairs northbound on Jerome Boulevard.

The victim sustained no injuries.
