The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photos in connection to an attempted robbery within the confines of the 52 Precinct in Bronx.

The following has been reported to police.

On Saturday, December 28, 2019, at approximately 1935 hours, the individual followed a 40-year-old male victim into his apartment building through an open door in the vicinity of Briggs Avenue and E. Kingsbridge Road. Once inside, the individual proceeded to enter the victim’s apartment and displayed a screwdriver while demanding money. A physical struggle ensued and the individual then fled the building towards Kingsbridge Road.

The victim sustained lacerations to his hands and was removed to St. Barnabas Hospital by EMS. No property was removed.

The male suspect is described as a male, Black, approximately 5’8″, with a medium build and last seen wearing a green sweater under a black jacket, black “Adidas” sweat pants and black sand red sneakers.
