The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the male depicted in the attached photos wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 46th Precinct in Bronx / Transit District 11.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that at on Friday, October 04, 2019, at approximately 1230 hours, a 22-year-old female was riding a northbound “4” train through the 183rd subway station when an unidentified male snatched the victim’s cell phone and fled the station. The victim gave chase, catching the male at which time a struggle ensued. The male relinquished the phone and fled in unknown direction.

The victim sustained pain and swelling to her right ankle during the struggle.

Surveillance photographs of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
