The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the two individuals depicted in the attached surveillance photos in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 48 Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Tuesday, December 03, 2019, at 1520 hours, opposite of 585 E. 189 Street, an 11-year-old male victim and his companion were walking, when individual #1 approached him from behind and asked him for the time. As the victim looked at his cell phone, the individual grabbed the phone, and a struggle ensued before the individual forcibly removed the victim’s cell phone from his hand. A second individual was observed working in concert with individual #1 as a look out. Both individuals were last seen fleeing east bound on E. 189 street.
The victim sustained only minor pain to his arm and refused medical attention.
The individuals are described as follows:
Individual #1: adult male, dark complexion, approximately 5’8″ tall and bald. He was last seen wearing black hooded ski jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and white sneakers.
Individual #2: male, approximately 20-years-old, light complexion, approximately 5’6″ tall with straight dark hair and a mustache. He was last seen wearing an olive-colored hooded ski jacket with black fur, blue jeans, a black t-shirt and black sneakers.
