The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the males depicted in the attached video wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 42nd Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Monday, June 17, 2019, at approximately 1600 hours, at the corner of Prospect Ave and 165th Street, the 16-year-old male victim was walking at the location when two unidentified males punched the victim and removed his cell phone. The males fled in unknown direction. The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

The persons wanted for questioning are described as follows:

  1. male, Black, in his teens; last seen wearing a gray shirt, black sweat pants, black pants, and black sneakers;
  2. male, Hispanic, in his teens; last seen wearing a white tank-top shirt and black pants.

A surveillance video clip of the suspects is attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
