The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs, who are wanted in connection to a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 48th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at approximately 0730 hours, two unidentified individuals approached a 25-year-old female victim’s apartment door located in the vicinity of Monterey Avenue and E. 178th Street. When the victim opened the door, the individuals identified themselves as police officers. One of the individuals displayed a firearm, while the other individual entered the apartment.
While inside, the individual then removed approximately $20,000 from inside a shoe box.
The individuals then fled on foot to parts unknown.
There were no injuries reported as a result to this incident.
The first individual is described as a light-skinned adult male, with a medium build and last seen wearing a dark-colored hoodie sweater, dark-colored pants, dark-colored sneakers, a dark-colored hat with the letter “P” on it and a blue face mask.
The second individual is described as a light-skinned adult male, with a medium build and last seen wearing a dark-colored long-sleeved sweater, gray sweatpants, dark-colored sneakers, a light-colored face mask and seen carrying a red bag.
