The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the two individuals,depicted in the attached surveillance video clip, regarding a robbery, that occurred within the confines of the 46th Precinct in the Bronx.
Details are as follows.
It was reported to police that on Thursday, July 09, 2020, at approximately 1245 hours, inside the “Happy Land Buffet Restaurant”, located at 2028 Jerome Avenue, a 26-year-old female victim and her friend were approached by an unknown female; the three engaged in a verbal dispute, which escalated into a physical encounter. The individual punched the female victim in face and fled the location. A short time later, an unknown male entered the location and began punching both victims about the face and body. The individual forcibly removed the 26-year-old female victim’s iPhone 8+ from her clothing, before fleeing the scene on foot in an unknown direction. Victim #1 sustained a minor laceration to her left hand but refused medical attention.
The individuals are described as follows.
Individual 1: male, 20 to 30-years-old, dark complexion, short black hair, approximately 5’11” tall, with a large build. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and dark-colored shorts.
Individual 2: adult female, dark complexion; she was last seen wearing pink shorts, a black shirt and green sneakers
