The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male who is seen in the attached photos and is sought in connection with a grand larceny within the confines of the 43rd Precinct of Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, December 07, 2019, at 0255 hours, the victim, a 63-year-old for-hire-vehicle operator, was seated in a black 2018 Toyota sedan, opposite 11 Grant Circle, when an unidentified male entered rear passenger area of the vehicle and requested a ride.

A verbal dispute ensued and the victim used his cellphone to call 911. The unidentified male then snatched the victim’s blue iPhone 6 from his hand and fled.

Surveillance photographs of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
