Help Identify A Grand Larceny Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 42 Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows:

It was reported to police that on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at approximately 2330 hours, on the corner of 169th Street and Intervale Avenue, aboard MTA Bus #BX35, an unidentified individual approached a 20-year-old female victim and forcibly removed headphones from her head before exiting the bus through the rear door. The individual fled in an unknown direction.

The individual is described as a male Black, late teens to early twenties, approximately 5’10” tall, 160 lbs. He was last seen wearing a fur-lined winter coat, a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and black sneakers.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers’ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
