The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the male in the photo wanted for questioning in connection to a grand larceny in the confines of the 46th Precinct in Bronx / Transit District 11.

The following has been reported to police.

On Monday, October 07, 2019 at approximately 0910 hours, 39-year-old female exited the East Burnside / Jerome Avenue subway station when an unidentified male removed her cell phone from her back pants pocket. The male proceeded to run towards the vicinity of 1985 Davidson Avenue and then fled in unknown direction.

A surveillance photograph of the suspect is attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stopperswebsite or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES), followed by entering TIP577.
