Help Identify A Grand Larceny Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video and photographs in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 46 Precinct in Bronx.

Help Identify A Grand Larceny Suspect

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Sunday October 7, 2018, inside of a residence in the vicinity of 50 Avenue and 41 Street, the 22-year-old male victim was informed by a bank representative that an unknown individual used one of his checks to withdraw $9,861 dollars from his bank account. Pursuant to an ongoing investigation it was determined that an unknown individual stole the victim’s check after he mailed it out on September 28, 2018. On October 4, 2018, at approximately 06:30 p.m., inside of 148 East Fordham Road in Bronx (TD Bank), the individual depicted in the video and photographs deposited the forged check into another person’s bank account.

The individual is described as a male, black, last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, blue jeans and black and gray sneakers.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers’ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
