The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs, who is wanted in connection to a grand larceny, that occurred within the confines of the 42 Precinct / Transit District 12 in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, January 09, 2021, at approximately 0950 hours, inside of the E. 174th Street 2, 5 subway station, the individual took the victim’s wallet as she exited the station. The individual continued further into the station and fled in an unknown direction.

The individual is described as a light-skinned male who wore black sunglasses, a gray hat, a black coat, a black sweater, black jeans and black sneakers.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
