Help Identify A Grand Larceny Suspect

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance video, who is wanted for questioning in connection to a grand larceny, that occurred within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to the police that on Tuesday, October 27, 2020, approximately 0910 hours, a 66-year-old male victim was walking in the vicinity of Castle Hill Avenue and Randall Avenue, when an unidentified male individual approached him from behind and grabbed his gold metal necklace off his neck and fled on foot to parts unknown.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

The unidentified individual is described as a light-skinned male, approximately in his teens, with a thin build.

He was last seen wearing a black hoodie sweater, gray sweatpants and black sneakers.

A surveillance video clip of the suspect is attached and available at DCPI.
