The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals depicted in the attached photograph in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 43rd Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Friday, January 10, 2020, in front of 1546 Westchester Avenue, a 17-year-old male was walking to school when he was approached from behind by two unidentified individuals riding a bicycle. One of the individuals grabbed an iPhone XR from the victim’s hands, and both individuals fled northbound on Boyton Avenue.

The first individual is a male and in his early 20’s. He was last seen wearing all black.

The second individual is a male, and is in his early 20’s. He was last seen wearing a red hoodie and black jacket.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
