The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male who is seen in the attached surveillance video and photos and is sought in connection with a burglary that occurred within the confines of the 50th Precinct in Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Thursday, January 16, 2020, at approximately 0137 hours, an unidentified individual entered the Hebrew Institute located at 3700 Hudson Parkway by picking window lock. Once inside, the individual removed two cellphones and an Apple iPpod and fled the location in a late model light-colored Dodge Dart to parts unknown.

The individual is described as a male, with a thin build and was last seen wearing tan pants, a white hoodie with black stripes down the side with lettering, gray sneakers, a black vest, unknown color cap, blue medical gloves and carrying a black bag.

Surveillance photographs of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.

Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the NYPD‘s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1800577TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 188857PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
