The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photographs in connection to a burglary within the confines of the 48 Precinct in Bronx.

The details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Thursday September 05, 2019, at approximately 1745 hours, inside of a residential building in the vicinity of E. 189 Street and Hoffman Street, the individual gained entry into the building by forcing open a basement door. Once inside, the individual opened a package addressed to a 21-year-old female victim and took a box with a pair of sneakers inside it. The individual fled the building in an unknown direction.

The individual is a male, Hispanic, 40 to 50 years old, with a mustache; last seen wearing a light colored baseball cap, a gray shirt with the words “bite me” on the front, blue jeans and black sneakers.
