The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying the individual, depicted in the attached surveillance photographs and video clip who is wanted in connection to a burglary, that occurred within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

It was reported to police that on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at approximately 1706 hours, the unidentified male individual entered the fire station, located at 720 Melrose Avenue, through an open gate, and removed an FDNY bunker coat and FDNY Department radio, before fleeing on foot to parts unknown.

The individual is described as an adult male, Black, approximately 30 to 40 years of age, with a medium build, black hair and last wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, black sneakers, white face mask under chin and seen holding a the FDNY coat and radio.

Surveillance video clip and photographs of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.
