The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photo in connection to a burglary that occurred within the confines of the 47 Precinct in Bronx.
Details are as follows.
On Sunday, December 23, 2018 at 03:30 p.m., an unidentified individual entered an apartment in a residential building located in the vicinity of Light Street & Rombouts Avenue. The unknown individual entered through an unlocked front door, went into the bedroom and an attempted to sexually assault a 26-year-old female victim. The victim resisted the assault, at which time her boyfriend arrived at the scene causing the unknown individual flee the location, in an unknown direction. No property was taken and no injuries were reported.
The individual is described as a male black, mid to late 20’s, approximately 5’11” tall, weighing 220 lbs., with a dark complexion, large build, brown eyes, a full beard and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, gray jeans, blue sneakers and sun glasses.
