The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the individual, who is seen in the attached surveillance video clip and photograph, who is sought in connection with a burglary, which occurred within the confines of the 44th Precinct in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

On Sunday, November 29, 2020, at approximately 0126 hours, an unidentified male individual entered 1388 Grant Highway (El Nuevo Patio Restaurant) through the front door after breaking the lock.

Once inside the individual opened the cash register and removed $500.

The individual fled on foot in an unknown direction.

There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

The individual is described as a dark-skinned male approximately 40-50 years old, last seen wearing a black jacket, light colored pants, black sneakers, light colored ski cap, glasses and a blue surgical mask.

A surveillance video clip and a photograph of the suspect are attached and available at DCPI.

The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers‘ website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
