On Monday, March 15, 2021, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. and Assemblyman Kenny Burgos presented Citations of Merit to one of the newest members to the Centenarian Club in the Soundview section of the Bronx.

They surprised her in her home, sang to her and received words of wisdom from Ms. Hobson.
