GOP candidate for NYC Comptroller, Joe Mendola, has been endorsed by both the Richmond County and Bronx County Republican Party Committees.
Having been previously endorsed by the New York County and Kings County GOP Committees, the Mendola campaign has now earned the endorsement of 4 of the 5 NYC GOP County Committees. Baring a successful third party petition effort, which is traditionally very difficult in NYC politics, Mendola is virtually assured a spot on the November ballot as the GOP Candidate for NYC Comptroller.
“I am grateful to Bronx County Chairman Savino and Richmond County Chairman Friscia for their support and confidence. To have the endorsement of 4 of the 5 County Committees is a great honor and privilege. I will work as hard as I can to earn the votes of all New Yorkers in my effort to bring professionalism and competence to the NYC Comptroller’s Office,” said Mendola.
Mendola, a Columbia Law School graduate and a lifelong New Yorker, is a financial risk manager and compliance specialist. He lives in Greenwich Village and is the single father of 2 small children.
