On Wednesday, September 18, 2019, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. attended the grand opening of the new Fordham Road office of Good Shepherd Services’ Bronx Rises Against Gun Violence (B.R.A.G.) program.

B.R.A.G. works with young people, local residents, and community organizations to promote safer streets and new community norms where violence is not accepted.

“Violence interrupters are an important partner in reaching out to our vulnerable youth, taking a stand against gun incidents in our community. The proof is in the pudding and they have done incredible work in creating a world where gun violence is not accepted as the norm. Congratulations to B.R.A.G. and Good Shepherd Services on the grand opening of your new Fordham Road office,” said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr.
