Fred Gelb sat down with his doctor and got the news that his cancer was the kind of aggressive cancer with a very small survival rate. There were treatment options, almost as bad as the cancer, and they will do everything they can to help him continue fighting.

For a man at the top of his game, an expert with 30 years of experience and a leader in the fur industry, that is a life changing moment.

Do you fight the good fight or choose to give up?

Fred, a father and a husband, and a successful businessman, decided to FIGHT and more importantly he WON.

Fast forward… 12 years… he is now CANCER-FREE and ready for the next chapter in his life.

Fred is also a world-renowned sculpture artist, with artwork installations in several states. Turning his life back to art is his goal and that means closing down his very successful wholesale fur business.

Fred’s fur inventory is ALL from top designers, and ALL the big names in the industry. Very expensive furs are offered at a fraction of their regular price, which means discounts of 70% or more.

Fred says “Cancer changes your life, your purpose, your goals, your outlook, your priorities, and gives you a whole new direction. What do you really WANT in life… and that answer was my family first and art second… and the wholesale fur business to close.”

Furs are available at his liquidation pop-up store, on Lexington Avenue and 62nd Street in Manhattan, that you won’t see anywhere else, they are all designer furs without the designer label or the designer prices.

There are stunning fur and leather coats, along with hats, headbands, scarves, vests, sherpa, reversibles and capes.

The store will remain open until the end of February, 2020, so customers still have time to come in and find something fabulous.

The store is open 7 days a week, as follows:

Monday Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 07:00 p.m.
Saturday:…………….10:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m.
Sunday:……………….11:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m

Fred is also active in raising money to fight cancer, and knows just what the fight is all about. He is now setting his goals in a new direction, and creating a new path, just where that will take him is the exciting part of life.
