Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. will host today a distribution event at River Park Towers in the Bronx.
Borough President Diaz is hosting the event with New York City Council Member Vanessa Gibson and New York State Assembly Member Latoya Joyner in partnership with Empire BlueCross BlueShield. They will be distributing personal protective equipment such as face masks and hand sanitizer.
Department of Sanitation Commissioner Kathryn Garcia and the Food Policy Team will be at the event to give out boxes of groceries for residents of River Park Towers.
The event will take place on Friday, August 07, 2020, stqrting 11:00 a.m., at River Park Towers, 55 Richman Plaza, Bronx, NY 10453
