Elderly Bronx Woman Robbed

Police are hunting for a red-clad thug accused of robbing an elderly woman in broad daylight at a Bronx subway station.

The 78-year-old victim was near the exit of the E. 180th St. station of the 2 and 5 lines in West Farms when the pushed her to the ground and stole her pocketbook at 1:20 p.m. November 10, 2013. The bag contained an undetermined amount of cash and a MetroCard. The woman was not injured.

Police released a surveillance tape of the suspect, described as a 20-year-old Hispanic man dressed all in red, Wednesday morning.
