Two men, including a custodian, were shot Wednesday at a Housing Authority complex in Bronx.

It happened at 1:07 p.m. in a building at 975 Tinton Avenue in the Morrisania section.

The custodian was going about his normal routine when he was caught in the crossfire of a shooting, and was shot in the foot.

The other man, a young resident, was shot in the torso.

Both victims were taken to Lincoln Hospital.

There is no word yet on their condition.

In a statement, NYCHA Chair and CEO Shola Olatoye said: “The disturbing news that a hard-working custodian and a young resident were victims of a shooting at one of our developments is deeply upsetting. The safety of our employees and residents is our paramount concern and our thoughts are with those hurt today. We are cooperating with the authorities as they investigate.”

Police are looking for a suspect identified as a man, about 25 years old, about 5’10” wearing a t-shirt with an American flag on it.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit NYPDCrimestoppers.com.
