On November 15, 2011, Dobbs Ferry police arrested a 45-year-old Bronx woman, after she side-swiped a 2011 Nissan parked across from the Ambulance Corps. on Ashford Avenue.

The owner saw the accident, police said, and called immediately to report it. Police pulled over Donna Munoz at around 6:30 p.m.—noticing that her eyes were bloodshot and smelling alcohol on her breath and inside her 2004 Ford Explorer.

Donna was led to the sidewalk and administered a number of sobriety tests that did not go well. Inside the car the police found nine 16-oz. full cans of King Cobra Malt Liquor and two empty cans. They also found a brown, plastic travel mug that appeared to be filled with alcohol.

After fieling the sobriety tests, Munoz was brought back to police headquarters and administered a breathalyzer test—which sealed the deal.

Munoz was charged with: DWI, DWI with a blood-alcohol level higher than .08 percent and aggravated DWI.

She is expected in court on December 1, 2011.
