It was reported to police that on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at approximately 1730 hours, in front of 960 Tinton Avenue, within the vicinity of the 42nd Precinct in the Bronx, a 30-year-old male victim was approached by an unknown individual; the individual displayed a black firearm and shot the victim in the torso, before fleeing the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he was listed in critical condition.
The above-listed victim was pronounced deceased on Monday, January 04, 2021 and the incident was deemed a homicide.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 33-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at 1112 hours, within the confines of the 42nd Precinct.

Charges:
- murder;
- manslaughter;
- criminal ppossession of a weapon: loaded firearm.
The investigation remains ongoing.
