A man dubbed the “Bump & Run” bandit by Denver police has been captured in New York City.
Ronald Davis, 43, was arrested Saturday in Bronx for providing false information, according to a Denver Police Department media release.
Davis is being held in a Bronx jail and Denver police are working on his his extradition.
Davis is wanted in Denver on suspicion of aggravated robbery, police said.
He is suspected of using a vehicle to bump the rear of a car, then robbing the driver when she got out to check for damage.
Davis also is believed to be the culprit in a series of Denver robberies of pedestrians that were carried out at knifepoint.
