David Hill, 32, Arrested For The Murder Of Ryehine Cintron, 38

On Monday, August 23, 2021, at approximately 2231 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a person, shot near the corner of E. 157th Street and Melrose Avenue, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 38-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the torso.

EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln, where he was pronounced deceased.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

3055 3rd Avenue
Bronx, NY 10451

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 32-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Friday, September 17, 2021, at 0520 hours within the confines of the 40th Precinct.

Arrested:

David Hill
281 E. 143rd Street
Bronx, NY 10451

Charges:

  • murder;
  • manslaughter;
  • criminal possession of a weapon: loaded firearm.

The investigation remains ongoing.

All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
