It was reported to police that on Wednesday, September 02, 2020, at 2324 hours, in front of 141 W. 110 Street within the confines of the 28th Precinct in Manhattan, a 28-year-old male was punched in the face by an unidentified male who fled.

At 0040 hours on Thursday, September 03, 2020, EMS discovered the victim in the vicinity of the incident location and transported him to St. Luke’s Hospital, where on Friday, September 11, 2020, he was pronounced deceased.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 57-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at 1600 hours within the confines of the 28 Precinct.

Lorenzo Scott

Queens, NY 11411

Charges:

  • tampering with physical evidence

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following 33-year-old male individual has been arrested and charged on Friday, September 25, 2020, at 1600 hours within the confines of the 28th Precinct.

David Brown

Bronx, NY 10457

Charges:

  • criminally negligent homicide;
  • tampering with physical evidence.

The investigation remains ongoing.
