David Brown, 33 Arrested For The Murder Of Nicholas Brittai, 28

On Thursday, September 03, 2020, at approximately 1300 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an aided male near the corner of W. 110th Street and 7th Avenue, within the confines of the 28th Precinct in Manhattan.

Upon arrival, officers were advised that responding EMS removed a 28-year-old aided male with head injuries from the location, and transported him to Mt. Sinai Saint Luke’s Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased on Friday, September 11, 2020.

The Medical Examiner has deemed the incident a homicide.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following individuals have been arrested and charged on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 and Friday, September 25, 2020, respectively, within the confines of the 28th Precinct.

Queens, NY 11411

Charges:

  • tampering with physical evidence.

Bronx, NY 10457

Charges:

  • criminally negligent homicide;
  • tampering with physical evidence.

The investigation remains ongoing.

All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
