A teenager was brutally stabbed to death in the Bronx this Saturday for trying to get a $10 refund after he was kicked out of a party, the teen’s sister said.

Cops said they found Damien Martinez, 17, with a stab wound to the chest when they responded to a 911 call outside a building on Bathgate Avenue in the Tremont section of the Bronx.

Martinez was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival, police said.

Martinez was attacked when he tried to get a refund for the cover charge at a party he was cicked out of. According to his sister, an eye witness, he was thrown on the floor and kicked. When he tried to protect himself by curling up, he was hit in the head with a metal bat.

He was then thrown down the stairs, then stabbed the neck with a kitchen knife. His friends had run away because the guys who did it are in a gang.

Police has not immediately confirmed that the dispute was over a $10 cover fee. There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

About 50 family members and friends gathered at the teen’s Bryant Avenue home on Friday where a makeshift memorial was created with candles and photos.

Martinez was working toward getting his GED and planned to join the Army next year after he turned 18. He leaves behind a pregnant girlfriend.

Most people were not talking to cops because they were scared.

The victim’s cousin, Aixa Soltren, 22, pleaded for witnesses to contact cops.

The investigation remains ongoing.

All charges are merely accusations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
