Please join us for the final program of our research project, Creating Systems of Shared Benefits for the NYC Co-Op Community.

Over the past 8 months we have been researching different systems by which communities across the globe have created mutually beneficial systems that help financially support and sustain their business communities. We explored ideas such as a discount program, loyalty programs, collective bulk purchasing, and others. We presented our initial research last December and since then have been interviewing co-ops across New York City to find out what kind of systems worker owners would like to see in our community. We will present our findings and our proposal for a pilot program.

We would love to have our community members present to continue to provide feedback and help us shape a system that is truly reflective of the desires and needs or our NYC Co-Op Community.

English-Spanish Interpretation and a delicious meal by NYC co-ops will be provided. Childcare will not be provided. Please note that there is an elevator on site; however, the bathroom is not accessible as it is at the bottom of a stairwell. Please reach out to Catherine at cmurcek@gmail.com with any questions.

The event will take place on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 between the hours of 07:00 p.m. and 09:00 p.m. at Align at 50 Broadway, 29 Floor, New York, NY 10004.

This program is brought to you by NYC Network for Worker Cooperatives’ Member-Driven Programming.
