Cops are searching for three men responsible for climbing up an apartment building fire escape and burglarizing a home in the Bronx.
Police say the three young men targeted an apartment building located at 590 East 166th Street in Morrisania on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 1:50 p.m.
The first suspect clibed up a fire escape and entered a bedroom window. He then opened the apartment’s front door and allowed the second suspect in to help in loot the home. The third suspect remained outside and served as a lookout.
The men made off with cash and jewelry.
Cops described all three suspects as Hispanic men between 18- to 21-years-old.
The man, who climbed up the fire escape, is said to be about 140 pound, and was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black skull cap.
The man, who was let into the front door, is said to be about 170 pounds, and was last seen wearing a dark coat, gray sweatpants, white shirt and a blue New York Yankees hat.
The man, who served as the group’s lookout, is about 140 pounds, and was last seen wearing a gray hoded sweatshirt and dark-colored jeans.
