For the second year, Co-op City high school students of the Full Circle Project launch their film and poetry projects as an e-exhibit on the Web this week.

Students' final edits.

The exhibition features: 6 digital films and poems by students that took a literacy intensive filmmaking course, and learned ways to blend poetry with moving images to describe their world. The program runs every summer and offers insight from experienced filmmakers on how technology and new media affect social change.

The Full Circle Project is a youth in education program of the Drammeh Institute, Inc., in partnership with the United Way of New York City, Tekserve Apple Specialists and Al Santana Productions. Supported in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, The Bronx Council on the Arts through the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Program, Congressman Joseph Crowley and General Reinsurance Corporation Matching Gift Fund.

Starting November 19, 2009, exhibit will be viewable online here.

For more information or applications for next year, contact Elise Edwards at fcproject@live.com or 718-737-197.
