The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance locating the individual, depicted in the attached photograph, who is wanted for escaping police custody from the 44th Precinct, located at 2 E. 169th Street in the Bronx.

Details are as follows.

On Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at approximately 1933 hours, Christina Evans was taken into custody and transported to the 44th Precinct.

Once inside, she was placed in the arrest processing room and handcuffed.

While handcuffed, the individual was able to slip her hands out of the handcuffs and proceeded to walk out the rear of the building.

She was last seen on surveillance camera on foot heading westbound on 169th Street.

The individual is described as a 33-year-old female, Black, approximately 5’06” tall, weighing 110 lbs., with dark a skin complexion, brown eyes and short black hair.

The escapee has the word “Tiny”, tattooed on her neck and a nose piercing.

She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black sweatpants and black sandals.
