Charles Wilkins, 24, Murdered

On Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at approximately 2327 hours, police responded to a 911 call of a person, shot at the corner of Willis Avenue and E. 137th Street, within the confines of the 40th Precinct in the Bronx.

Officers at the scene observed two male victims, each with gunshots wounds to the body.

EMS responded to the location and transported both victims to NYC Health + Hospitals / Lincoln.

Victim #1, a 24-year-old male, sustained multiple gunshot wound to his body and was pronounced deceased upon arrival. Victim #2, a 20-year-male, sustained a single gunshot wound to his leg, and was listed in stable condition.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
