On Friday, May 29, 2020, at approximately 2131 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an aided male near the corner of Bolton Street and Pelham Parkway, within the confines of the 49th Precinct in the Bronx.
Upon arrival, officers were informed that a 69-year-old male was removed from the location by EMS, and transported to NYC Health + Hospitals / Jacobi, with a laceration to the forehead, where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as follows.

The investigation remains ongoing.
