A Bronx woman is facing charges for allegedly having marijuana shipped to a home in Southport.

Police say Joan Mitchell, 47, had the 24 pounds of drugs delivered to a home on Main Street where she worked as a nurse’s aide for an elderly resident.

Officers say three packages were flagged as suspicious by FedEx at their shipping center in Norwalk. FedEx then notified police.
