Earlier today, Tuesday, November 26, 2019, Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. visited the extended care/community living center at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center in Kingsbridge Heights to help serve and enjoy a Thanksgiving luncheon with Bronx military veterans.
“I am always proud to honor our military veterans and recognize their sacrifices, especially during the holiday season. This annual luncheon provides us with an opportunity to recognize our friends and neighbors who have served in the Armed Forces and provide them with a wonderful meal and an afternoon of camaraderie,” said Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr.
