Eight people were injured, seven seriously, inside a Bronx discount store Monday after several shelving units fell over.

The FDNY transported 6 adults and 2 children to Lincoln Hospital.

7 of the injured are in serious but stable condition. The other is in stable condition with minor injuries.

Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

According to a woman who was inside the store at 950 Morris Avenue in the Melrose section, one of the shelving units fell over and proceeded to take down around 9 more of them. She estimated that each of the units is around 7 feet tall.

Firefighters checked to make sure nobody else was trapped underneath the shelves.
