A New York City woman is facing child endangerment charges after her 5-year-old daughter fell out of a third-story window.
The child is listed in stable condition at a hospital.
Police say the 38-year-old mother left her three children alone in their Bronx apartment Thursday afternoon.
The other children are one and nine.
Police say the child fell out of a window with an unsecured air conditioner.
They say the children were alone for about two hours.
